additive (focus) operator (CXN):

additive (focus) operator (a.k.a. inclusive focus operator) (CXN) = a focus operator that indicates that the focus is the added information in an expanding counterpresupposi- tional contrast construction. Example: in the exchange John bought apples. He also bought PEACHES, also is an additive operator. (Section 11.4.1)
